Saved Stories

Cracks, stains and other signs of previous occupants are often seen as imperfections, but aren't they exactly the characteristics that make a building unique; just like people wearing jewellery because they want to be different from each other?
Why can't we cherish these imperfections?

Different kinds of materials, found in renovated or derelict buildings, served as a foundation for the collection.
They are saved from oblivion or even vanishing by turning them into tangible memories: jewellery without the necessity to wear them on the body.

'Saved Stories' is a jewellery collection that sets us thinking about the value of materials as wel as the wearability of jewellery.
